Gas To Electric Conversion Furnace Conversion From Natuaral Gas To Electric.?

Furnace conversion from Natuaral gas to electric.? - gas to electric conversion

Has someone a basic idea of what would be involved in the conversion of a gas oven electric cooker. Basically, you run what you want. The current furnace is about 15 years of age and have more power.

And before someone responds, I know many people think it's a bad idea, but it's something I'm interested and you just want basic information at this time.

Group Elect.Service require a minimum of 70 ampere breaker. Must be taken at least 2 4-gauge wire to the furnace. (Price per foot). The furnace itself, puzzle, $ 2,000. Adaptation to the board of the Pentium. Removing the gas tank. DIY probably $ 3000 - $ 5000 depending on what you want. Rent, $ 6000 - $ 10,000 and more.

If a 220V circuit lead the new unit and disconnect the gas, of course. So you are looking for a new wiring and a power switch. You probably need a licensed electrician to do this, and is likely to work.

If your existing furnace is 15 years old, you have to estimates obtained on a new drive, either electric or gas. The new appliances are more energy efficient than it was 15 years ago.

We replaced the gas stove in 2 winters, with a little insulation in the cavity and attic, with the results, we have reduced our gas bills by two thirds. We spend a lot less for gas now. Another 2-year savings of this kind, and we must recover the cost of labor and new furnace.

Good Luck

You need a minimum of 200 amps even more important if other loads are present.
The electrical service must change. Depending on your location to $ 1500 $ 6000.
Removing the gas tank and the installation of an air handler with electric heating kit around $ 1800 to $ 3700 depending on many different factors.
If all this makes sense, by a heat pump installed the correct size and $ 2,700 to $ 7,500. There are many options with pimps thermal efficiency and quality.

Simply remove and replace an electric air handler. You need a new circuit panel frun 208-240 volts, depending on what you want in your city. Then you exit the sewers.

You will not be converted to a gas oven electric. It is an electric oven or checking the world that a DIY job like that, spend.

Well, depending on the location of the kiln and cabinet and the design of your home can be simple or advanced work. As for electricity into account the size you want your power cord and use the two-pole switch for your 220-240 volts

You can convert an electric stove, you can do this, but the cost would be enormous
You must replace the entire device in order to be profitable
