I need help identifying a movie in which a motorhome falls off a cliff, parents die, boy meets indian...more? - american motorhome insurance
Some years ago a movie on TV and I saw the first half or something. I recall a family camping trip in an RV, and while the kid from the trailer off a cliff for some reason. The parents are in the mobile home and die, but the child survived and found their way into the desert. For some reason, I believe in the meetings and is assisted by a Native American man.
The details are sketchy in my head, but the scene in the motorhome through the rocks really stuck in my head.
I continue to see this movie, but I have no idea what it was called, played in, or if he did. (I know he was there at least twenty years.)

This was one of the last films of William Holden. Play Patrick Foley, a disappointed Lonely tired that he is dying of cancer, and decides to back inside, where he was born. On the way he meets Shawn (Schroeder), a spoiled child whose parents die in an accident. He and the boy she loves to start, but then, as the bond Holden teaches survival techniques.
